· The musicians who play for your event have an important role in providing relaxing background music for your guests. Here are some things to consider when you make the arrangements for your event;
· How long would you like our playing session to be? We can comfortably play for about an hour and a half before needing a break.
Position the string quartet slightly away from your guests so that we are not right on top of each other, away from the door so that the instruments stay in tune and we are not in the way of your guests. At a venue the events co-ordinator should give advice on this.
· For a Summer event having strings playing outdoors has some problems. The instruments must be kept out of direct sunlight so the Quartet must be positioned in the shade.
It is customary to arrange refreshments for the String Quartet as most of the musicians will be coming from a fair distance to play at your event.
Wedding Service.
Our personalised Wedding Service adds a touch of class to all parts of the special day and our experience will be reassuring and relaxing. We have a special repertoire from which to choose music for the four parts of the Marriage Ceremony and our ever expanding and varied store of pieces will provide a relaxed ambience for the drinks reception and the meal.
Church Wedding.
The String Quartet can play at a Church Wedding for the Entrance, signing of the marriage Register and the exit. But we can also play for the hymns either with or without the organ which may help to keep costs down
